Cookies Policy

This site uses no tracking cookies. Here is exactly what it does store on your device, and why.

Last updated 25 Aug 2026

Most cookie policies are longer than they need to be because most websites track their visitors. This one does not.

The short version

FidsorOne.com sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party tracking cookies. There are no pixels from advertising networks, no session recording, and no cross-site tracking of any kind.

What is actually stored

Two values are saved in your browser's local storage. Neither is a cookie in the traditional sense, neither is sent to our servers, and both stay on your own device:

fidsorone-theme

Remembers whether you chose the light or dark appearance, so the site does not flash the wrong theme on your next visit. Kept until you clear your browser storage.

fidsorone-cookies

Remembers that you answered the cookie notice, so we stop asking. Kept until you clear your browser storage.

Both are strictly functional. Without them the site still works — it would simply forget your theme and ask about cookies again on every visit.

Why we still show a notice

We show the notice because storing anything on your device is worth telling you about, and because it records your preference should we ever add measurement tools. If you decline, nothing changes today, because there is nothing optional to switch off. Your choice is stored so that any future analytics would honour it rather than assume consent.

Third parties

Our fonts are served from our own domain rather than a font network, so no third party sees your visit. Our content delivery provider, Cloudflare, may set a security cookie to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic. If you submit the contact form, EmailJS processes that submission in order to deliver it.

Links to our social media profiles are ordinary links — those platforms only learn about you if you click through to them.

Controlling storage

You can clear or block local storage and cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so will reset your theme preference and bring back the cookie notice.
